Hello skiers and snowboarders,
For much of the upcoming week can expect cold and dry conditions. Morning temperatures in many of our resorts will be close to 10 F and highs in the low to mid-20s. So pay attention to the wind chill which is the temperature that is felt on exposed skin. The good news is that with this pattern we will not have the melt/freeze cycle, so snow conditions should remain excellent. Also, we will get a good dose of sun.
Tuesday and continuing into Thursday we start to get some gusty winds at times, especially at Snoqualmie Pass and near Crystal Mountain. Winds will be close to 20 mph on Tuesday and increasing on Wednesday and Thursday. You know the drill, layer up! See the map below regarding winds.
Thursday we start to see an increase in clouds, and perhaps a light snow shower late in the day.
HIGHLIGHTS
Monday - Sun breaks for the afternoon
Tuesday and Wednesday - Sun breaks at times
Thursday - Up to 1" in the evening near Crystal

Extended Outlook Feb 14 to Feb 16
We continue with the pattern of below-average temperatures over this period. Much of Washington and Oregon are blue, indicating 8 F degrees below average. Much of the U.S. is in the grip of cold weather.
Forecast models suggest changes by next weekend, as the chance of snow increases. Make sure you check out our next update this Thursday.
