Hello Skiers and Snowboarders,
Short-Term Forecast

Friday, we are expecting light snow mainly for the Mt. Baker area, less elsewhere.
Over the weekend, a ridge of high pressure builds, bringing a dry pattern and warming temperatures. The map reflects this pattern. Will snow return next week? Check out our extended outlook.
Snow and Weather Summary
Friday: Up to 2" Baker, 1" Stevens
Saturday: Sun for the afternoon.
Sunday: Low clouds in the morning, then sunny in the afternoon.
Slopes: Elevation General Guidelines
Lower Slopes - Under 400
Mid-Slopes - 4000 to 5500'
Upper-Slopes - Above 5500'

Extended Outlook: Mon, March 2 to Wed, March 4
Monday, a ridge of high pressure remains over our region, so mild and mostly sunny conditions will be the rule.
Late Tuesday, a trough of low pressure and associated cold front moves into our region. We are expecting snow levels to drop to close to 4000' on Wednesday.
How much snow? Too early to get a good handle on it, but we will update you on Sunday, March 1.
Interior B.C Resorts
The map reflects snowpack as a percent of normal as of Feb 19. Many of the Interior B.C. resorts are located in the Upper Columbia Basin. This basin snowpack is at 89% of the average, with some resorts above 89%. The Upper Columbia Basin snowpack is certainly much higher than the resorts in Washington and Oregon.
