Powder Poobah’s take on Powder Highway favorites.

Snow conditions vary across the Pacific Northwest and Interior British Columbia based on elevation, temperature, and storm patterns.

Interior B.C. resorts are influenced by a colder, continental climate, while coastal mountains are more exposed to Pacific systems.

Andrea's trip report

Of this list of resorts, I've been to Big White (x2), Sun Peaks, and Revelstoke (x2). Love them all for different reasons.

  • Big White: Fun mountain, great for families, all levels. All you need in the village, great people, great food.

  • Sun Peaks: Ski -In, Ski Out. Highlight: Ski with Nancy Green. Mountain Ambassadors. Love the village. Family-friendly.

  • Revelstoke: Cool terrain, for me it was like a big Alpental. Wide open.

Please send us your feedback on these areas so I can add more info for other Powder Poobah subscribers.

REVELSTOKE

Revelstoke: they hike to get those turns. We skipped it that trip but it's a Must Do next time.
