Yahooo!
Hello Skiers and Snowboarders,
Short-Term Forecast
Tuesday through Thursday, we are expecting a good dose of snow, with 8 to 12" for the 24 hours ending Wednesday morning (first map). We will get additional snow through Thursday. Snow totals of 22" for the period Monday through Thursday for the lower slopes is our forecast. Some models put this total up to 30"+.
Wednesday, the second map shows a trough of low pressure at 18,000, and this will bring a cold and moist flow into our state and bring snow levels down to 1000 to 2000'.
Thursday, the third map shows that the entire state will get a good dose of snow.
Snow and Weather Summary
Monday: Up to 2"
Tuesday: 5 to 7" and windy
Wednesday: 5 to 7" and windy
Thursday: 4 to 6"

Extended Outlook:
Friday, Jan. 9 to Sunday, Jan. 11
Saturday forecast models show a weak ridge of high pressure building for part of the weekend. This would tend to bring a drying trend and some warming.
Too early to predict any snow, and we will address that on our next update on Thursday, January 8.
