Strong Storm = Fresh October Snow Incoming!
Hello NW skiers and snowboarders, There is more snowfall ahead with increasing snow coverage forecasted on all slopes. Today a strong storm is aimed at the Pacific Northwest and will move in Friday. Initially, the storm has mild air with a modest atmospheric river attached to the incoming cold front. Hello NW skiers and snowboarders, Here we go! Expect new snow at most ski areas starting tonight into Sunday as a weather front moves through the Pacific Northwest with cooler temperatures. Initially, the snow levels will be high, with snow mainly on the upper slopes 6,000–8,000 ft, but lowering to 4,000–5,000 ft by Sunday. Total snowfall: 1–4" lower slopes, 2–6"+ upper slopes by later Sunday. The convergence zone may focus heavier snowfall into Baker, Stevens, and The Summit
