Hello skiers and snowboarders,
We will continue the pattern of dry and mostly sunny conditions through Wednesday. Mornings will start cold and then for the mid to upper slopes (south facing), mid-40s in the afternoon can be expected. The lower slopes will be cooler since we have a temperature inversion. Normally temperatures decrease with height. However, with an inversion cold air is trapped at the lower levels. Thus, in these cases, temperatures increase with height.
The map below is for Stampede Pass at 4000' SE of Snoqualmie Pass. This indicates temperatures of 41 F for Wednesday and I would not be surprised to see 46 F at 5000'.
HIGHLIGHTS
Monday to Wednesday: Continued mostly sunny with some clouds for the lower slopes
Thursday: Increase in clouds and a chance of light snow on the upper slopes for the evening.
Make sure to see the snowy extended outlook.

By Sunday morning, we are expecting 30" of cumulative snow from Friday morning to Sunday morning for the mid to upper slopes. The lower slopes will get 15 to 20". The map below reflects these totals. Bring it on!
