SNOW for Monday and much more coming!

Hello skiers and snowboarders,

We are expecting 5 to 8" of snow by Monday, thanks to the cold front that is moving in tonight and into Monday morning. These totals are for Steven Pass, Snoqualmie Pass, and Crystal Mt. The map below shows these totals with Mt. Baker and Whistler receiving higher totals. Snow levels lower to 3000' tonight and slightly lower Monday morning.

For much of the week, we are expecting cool conditions with light snow. The great news is that snow conditions should be excellent with snow levels remaining at 3000' and, at times, slightly lower. If you want additional powder news, the extended forecast is delivering.

Extended Outlook: March 14 to March 18

We continue with all the forecast models showing below normal temperatures and above normal precipitation between Friday and next weekend. Thus, a high degree of confidence in the forecast! The good news is that all models show additional snow next weekend at 3000'. How much snow? On the conservative side, a total of 10" cumulative for the weekend and others up to 20". These totals are for these resorts, Mt. Baker, Stevens Pass, Snoqualmie Pass, and Crystal Mt. The inland areas of 49 Degrees North and Silver Mt will also get some fresh powder. We will update you this upcoming Thursday with the happy totals. Maybe it would be a good time to book a stay at Crystal Mountain Resort.

The maps below are the extended outlook for March 14 to March 18 with below normal temperatures, and the second map shows above normal precipitation for the West Coast.
