Hello skiers and snowboarders,
Friday morning, we can expect several inches of powder to enjoy. Then on Saturday another inch of snow for the day. The main message is that we will have COLD AIR in place and great snow conditions. The graph below is for Stampede Pass (SE of Snoqualmie) and reflects the general conditions that we will have at the ski areas through the weekend.
Whether you are involved in the Banked Slalom at Mt. Baker this weekend or at any local ski resort, be sure to layer up. The wind chill on Friday morning will be -4 F with an air temperature of 10 and wind speed of 10 mph.

Should have great powder to enjoy this weekend. We were wondering when La Nina-type conditions would arrive and they are here.
HIGHLIGHTS
Friday - Some sun breaks
Saturday - Up to 2" especially at Snoqualmie Pass
Sunday - Perhaps a trace of snow
Monday - No snow expected
EXTENDED OUTLOOK: Feb 11 to Feb 14
Forecast models all agree on cold temperatures over this period and the map below reflects that. However, snowfall looks limited for Tuesday and Wednesday. Conditions are looking favorable for some snow on Friday.
